Beautifully smooth and silky in texture with the tang of fresh lemons. Made with just four ingredients - all butter (and not margarine), whole eggs, sugar, lemons. Lemon curd eats very well just on toast or fresh buttered bread. It is also great used as an ingredient to make lemon curd ice cream or as a sauce for steamed sponges. Great for filling tarts or sponges.
